The Deutsche Telekom has some problems. I haven’t had anything to do with them for years, but at Glasgow Airport I encountered how Telekom works. I needed to go online to arrange my travels in England and the only option available was 60min wireless Internet for 5 British Pounds.
Since I only needed to check emails, I went online and immediately offline. Two hours later I returned, but the access was denied - apparently because the 60mins were all used up. I looked through the FAQ. At their very end I found that in order to sign off, you need to type in “Log off” in your browser. Needless to say that this was never mentioned when signing on, it was never mentioned when receiving the bill. In fact, once you are signed on, it is impossible to get to the page where this helpful hint could have been found. 5 Minutes of Internet for 5 quids - I think these were probably the most expensive emails I have sent in my whole life.
